Teenager Killed In Alpine Pickup Truck Rollover Crash

ALPINE -- A teenage girl dies in a rollover crash in Alpine.

    The crash happened around 1:10 AM on December 1st along F.M. 1703.

    Texas Department of Public Safety officials tell Big 2 that Aaron Tuttlebee of Alpine was driving a 2001 Ford F-250 pickup around a curve on F.M. 1703 when he went off the roadway.

    Tuttleby, 20, overcorrected, and the pickup rolled over before landing on its wheels.

    A passenger in the pickup truck -- 17-year-old Chelsey McEntire of Alpine -- was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Tuttlebee was taken to a nearby hospital with serious internal injuries and fractures.

    At last check, Tuttlebee was listed in serious condition.

    Another passenger in the pickup truck -- Joseph Langham of Fort Davis -- also suffered lacerations in the crash.

    At last check, Langham, 17, was listed in stable condition.

    Troopers say that no one involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt.
