Man Found Dead In Odessa Field Identified; Likely Involved In Motorcycle Crash

ODESSA -- Police have identified a man who was recently found dead at an Odessa field.
Odessa Police say that a body that was found in an oil field lease near West Business 20 and Southwest Loop 338 is that of Thomas Wayne Skelton.
Police found Skelton's body at the scene around 10:50 AM on December 2nd.
Officers believe that Skelton got into a motorcycle crash and died from his injuries before they arrived on scene.
Skelton's next-of-kin have been notified about his death.
Officers say an autopsy will not be ordered for Skelton's body.
