BIG SPRING -- A Big Spring man will spend the next 30 years behind bars, after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a child repeatedly.

A Howard County jury found Hector Manuel Gonzales guilty on 3 counts of first-degree felony aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Jurors found Gonzales not guilty of a fourth count of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The Howard County District Attorney's Office tells Big 2 that Gonzales, 33, got a 30 year sentence and a $10,000 fine for each count.

However, the sentences will run concurrently, or at the same time.

Gonzales sexually assaulted a child several time between March 1, 2010 and November 24, 2010.

Few details of the incidents have been released.

The trial against Gonzales started on December 4th, after the start date was pushed back to an illness.
