MIDLAND -- Drivers along Loop 250 in Midland might have noticed a lot of trash along the medians recently.

Now, Keep Midland Beautiful is working to restore the highway to its former glory with a special Love The Loop clean-up.

Groups of volunteers will be picking up trash from 9 AM to 12 PM up until January 1st.

Volunteers will also focus on the most litter-prone areas of the loop -- particularly the area near the TX 191 intersection and areas east of Garfield Street.

Midland Police will also be on hand while volunteers are on the roads to help protect the people that are cleaning up the trash.
