ODESSA -- Odessa College was given a $1 million anonymous donation Thursday at the College Board meeting.

The anonymous donor's only stipulation is that a building be built and named after the current Odessa College president Dr. Gregory Williams.

Williams said he's both honored and humble by the large donation.

"It's not about me and all of my work is about other people and lifting up other people to help them accomplish things. So when someone does something like this for me it's a bit awkward for me even though I really do appreciate this cause it really helps the college," said Williams.

The 2012 fall semester at Odessa College reached an all-time high in enrollment and graduation rates.

OC is still working to determine where the new building will be constructed and what it will be for.
