The new military judge overseeing the case against accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has scheduled a pre-trial hearing for next Tuesday.

Hasan has been charged with 13 counts of murder in connection with the November 2009 shooting spree at an Army post in central Texas.

The original judge overseeing the case was removed by a military appeals court who found the judge biased.

Another judge, Colonel Tara Osborn, has since been appointed.

According to a release from the Fort Hood Public Affairs Office, Tuesday's pre-trial hearing will be held to go over the trial schedule.
