MIDLAND -- VFW Post 4149 was busy on Saturday.

Starting at noon there were auctions, live music, a car show and more.  While it might sound like a large variety of events, they all had something in common: they all were meant to raise money for the victims of the Train Tragedy.

The VFW and the Patriot Guard Riders, both of whom are heavily involved in the Show of Support Hunt for Heroes every year, felt they needed to do something to raise more money for the people that were injured and killed in the November 15th crash.

That's where the silent auction and other events came in. All of the auction items and food were donated, meaning that 100% of the money raised can now go to the victims and their families.
