2 Killed, 4 Injured In Early Morning Crash In Monahans

MONAHANS -- Two people are killed in an early morning crash along Interstate 20.
The crash happened around 12:15 AM Monday along Interstate 20 in Midland.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers tell Big 2 that Robert Victorino of Alpine was heading west on Interstate 20 in a 1989 Chevy Suburban when he missed his exit.
Victorino, 59, put the Suburban into reverse while still on the interstate.
A tractor trailer driving behind the Suburban tried to swerve to avoid the S.U.V., but ended up rear ending it.
Two people in the Suburban -- Maria Botello Victorino and Robert Victorino Jr. -- died in the crash.
Robert Victorino Jr., 18, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:20 AM Monday.
Maria Victorino, 41, died at a nearby hospital at 1:15 AM Monday.
Troopers say that Robert Victorino, Jr. was wearing a seat belt, but Maria Victorino was not.
Robert Victorino Sr., Brandon Victorino and Ashley Victorino were all rushed to West Texas hospitals after the crash.
Robert Victorino Sr. was listed in stable condition with head and internal injuries at Odessa Regional Medical Center on Monday.
Brandon Victorino, 12, was listed in stable condition with unknown injuries at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock on Monday.
Ashley Victorino, 18, was listed in critical condition with head injuries at Medical Center Hospital on Monday.
Alejandro Garcia Paz of Victorville, CA -- a passenger in the big rig -- was rushed to Ward Memorial Hospital with neck injuries after the crash.
Paz, 48, was listed in stable condition Monday.
Troopers say that Paz wasn't wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the big rig -- Jose Luis Garcia -- wasn't injured in the crash.
