Easy Bake Oven Now Gender Neutral

Remember this? The good ol' Easy Bake Oven.

You can see here how the design has been updated... but there's something one girl thought was missing. The Los Angeles Times reports 13-year-old McKenna Pope petitioned Hasbro for an oven that girls  and  boys could use. And it looks like she's getting her wish.

The L-A Times reports that Hasbro has a new black-and-silver Easy Bake Oven in the works... and will be on shelves in the fall of 20-13. And--- the new packaging will apparently show boys, too...not just girls.

Pope launched her petition on Change-dot-org, where the Times reports more than 40-thousand people signed it.
