BIG SPRING -- Big Spring Police have arrested a man in connection with a bomb hoax that happened earlier this week.

Police arrested Jordan Weston Hamilton around 4:05 PM on December 18th.

Hamilton, 24, is accused of calling in a bomb threat at Big Spring High School on December 17th.

The school was evacuated after the 911 call, although no bomb was found in the school.

Police say that Hamilton confessed to making the threats, but didn't say why he did it.

Hamilton is now charged with terroristic threats.

As of Wednesday evening, Hamilton was being held in the Howard County Law Enforcement Center.
