HOUSTON -- Former President George HW Bush's family is confident he will be out of intensive care soon.

He's being treated for a fever at a Houston hospital.

Bush's chief of staff sent supporters a note today including this quote: "He would ask me to tell you to please put the harps back in the closet."

The note also reassured supporters that Bush is getting great medical care.

The 88-year-old has been in the hospital for more than a month, after first coming down with bronchitis.

Bush is the oldest living former president.
