London Sworn In As Eddy County, NM Sheriff

CARLSBAD, NM -- Eddy County, NM has a new sheriff.
Scott London was sworn into office on January 2nd.
The former Artesia Police Sergeant unseated Ernest Mendoza in the November 2012 elections.
The Carlsbad Current-Argus reports that London will be bringing in a 6-person evaluation team from the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office in late January.
The evaluation team -- which is based out of Albuquerque, NM -- will look into what changes need to be made in the department.
