Midland Crimestoppers Celebrates Successful 2012

Midland Crimestoppers made 336 arrests and cleared 331 cases in 2012.
Midland Crimestoppers also recovered $76,420 in stolen property, seized $23,500 worth of narcotics and paid $10,700 in rewards in 2012.
Since the inception of Midland Crimestoppers in 1984, 7,272 arrests have been made and 9,879 cases have been cleared.
Midland Crimestoppers has recovered $2,057,432 in stolen property, seized $6,035,081 worth of narcotics and paid $436.791.
Crime Stoppers assists law enforcement agencies in combating crime and help to maintain safe communities on the local, state, national and worldwide levels.
Through Crimestoppers, citizens have the opportunity to safely and anonymously communicate crime-solving information to law enforcement officials and become eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000.
Texas Governor Rick Perry has declared January as Crime Stoppers Month in Texas.
