Eric Ray Perez was arrested on January 4th.
Perez, 25, and his girlfriend Sonnie Kunkle, 32, were taken into custody in the 1100 block of North Texas Avenue.
However, Odessa Police say Perez tried to buy a vehicle from the Kelly Grimsley dealership in the 2600 block of East 8th Street around 6:20 PM on January 3rd.
Perez reportedly tried to use someone else's identification to buy the vehicle, and police were called to the scene.
When Perez saw the officers arrive, he reportedly ran away and jumped a fence.
Perez is also accused of driving at a Martin County Sheriff's deputy on December 27th, and running away from a traffic stop near the Midland International Airport on New Year's Day.
Now, Perez is charged with 3 counts of evading arrest, 2 counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, one count of identity theft, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of aggravated assault against a public servant.
The charges come out of Midland, Ector and Martin counties.
As of Tuesday evening, Perez was being held in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on $454,500 bond.
