MIDLAND -- Flooded and slick roads from Wednesday's rainstorm led to plenty of accidents in Midland and Odessa.

Midland Police tell Big 2 that they responded to 34 accidents during the storm.

Most of the accidents were minor, as only 3 crashes in the Tall City lead to injuries.

Odessa Police say they responded to 26 accidents during the storm.

A Dallas man -- 51-year-old Juan Garcia -- was killed in one of the accidents in Odessa.

The Texas Department of Public Safety also responded to several truck accidents in rural areas across West Texas.
