Senator Rubio wants to Modernize Immigration Proposal

Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is unveiling parts of his proposal to reform the U.S. immigration system.
Rubio tells the Wall Street Journal that his plan includes a permanent residency provision. It also includes a road to citizenship for undocumented immigrants currently in the U.S. He also stresses though that his plan is not a blanket amnesty measure. He says the crux of the idea is economic.
Rubio says American economic needs... including the expansion of the skilled workforce and supporting agriculture .... have relied on undocumented immigrants.
