11th Annual Bloodgusher Run/Walk 10 Weeks Away

MIDLAND -- 11th Annual Bloodgusher Run/Walk benefiting the United Blood Services.
Saturday, March 30, 2013 - 1/2 Marathon at 9 am (no race-day registration for the 1/2 marathon!); Kid's Fun Run at 9:45 am; 5K/10K at 10 am. Race-Day registration 8:00 am - 9:30 am (don't be late!!).
Pre-registration Packet Pickup: Friday, March 29, 2013- at the Midland Rockhounds Diamond Club (near the west entrance of the baseball stadium) from 2:00 - 6:00 pm. You can also pick up your pre-registration packets on Saturday morning (3/30).
There's CHIP TIMING for the finish line!! If you are registering on the day of the race, please come early as this process requires everyone to be entered into a computer database. *Note: Walkers will not be timed or tabulated in the results.
Where: Scharbauer Sports Complex (west entrance of baseball field)

Awards: Plaques in 1/2 marathon, 10K & 5K races to top Overall male & female finishers; Custom medals to top three finishers in the following age group divisions: 1-8, 9-12, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+ (1/2 marathon and 10K = 1-19 for first age-group break). Finisher medals to all 1/2 Marathoners who cross the Finish line!!
Entry fee: 1/2 Marathon - $40 pre-registered-only (no race day registration!); 5K/10K/Kid's 1K - $20 Pre-registered for runners, $15 for walkers, Kid's race runners are free ($10 with shirt); $30 Race-Day for everyone (please avoid race-day registration if you can!!)
Entry fee is waived (for 5K/10K only) with a blood donation voucher from UBS (donated Jan-Mar 2013)
T-Shirts: Provided on race day (if we run out, all paid entrants will be given a shirt at a later date). The shirt for adult sizes will be a super-cool "technical race shirt"; the youth size will be a cotton shirt.
