ODESSA -- Three Odessans have been arrested, after police reportedly found drugs in their home during a shooting investigation.

Julian Matthew Resendes, Kelly Ivan Resendes and Seth Dell Bird were arrested around 7:35 PM on January 15th.

Odessa Police were called to the 5200 block of Conley Avenue on the evening of January 15th, after officers got reports that of someone in a white-colored vehicle driving down a nearby alley and firing off several rounds.

Julian Resendes, 24, Kelly Resendes, 21, and Bird, 22, were in a home near the alleged shooting at the time, and police reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the house.

Police also reportedly saw a magazine clip in the area, and they quickly obtained a search warrant for the home.

During the subsequent search, U.S. Marshals and Odessa Police reportedly found and seized several firearms, ammunition and drug paraphernalia from the home.

At that point, the three men were taken into custody.

Now, Julian Resendes is charged with possession of a firearm by a drug user, Kelly Resendes is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Bird is charged with two misdemeanor warrants for possession of an open container.

Julian Resendes -- who was also arrested in November 2012 for a string of armed robberies and March 2012 for running from police -- was being held in federal custody in Midland Wednesday.

Neither Kelly Resendes nor Bird were listed in jail records at the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on Wednesday.
