Work Trucks Collide South Of Midland International Airport

The crash happened along F.M. 1788, about 7 miles south of Interstate 20, around 9 AM Thursday.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers tell Big 2 that a satellite company truck was heading south on F.M. 1788 when the driver pulled off to the right in order to make a wide left turn onto a lease road.
However, when the driver began to make his turn, bucket truck that was traveling behind him smashed into the satellite truck.
Two people in the bucket truck were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the satellite truck got a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
Texas D.P.S. troopers, Midland E.M.S. crews and Midland County Sheriff's deptuies all responded to the accident.
