ODESSA -- Odessa Police continue to investigate a weekend shooting.

McDavid, 33, added that he was injured in a drive-by shooting.

However, McDavid couldn't give a description of the vehicle.

A friend later drove McDavid to Medical Center Hospital, where medical staff called police.

Police went to the 900 block of Snyder Street, but they say that couldn't find any signs of a shooting actually occurring in the area.

Officers added that they didn't receive any calls of a shooting occurring in the area.

However, police are still investigating the incident.
