ODESSA -- The MCH Center For Women & Infants is celebrating its first birthday.

The Medical Center Hospital facility in Odessa opened this time last year.

To honor the first anniversary, the Center For Women & Infants invited mothers and their babies back to visit with the delivering nurses and doctors. The birthday celebration also included: face painting, games for the kids and information for the mothers.

The celebration is scheduled to continue next Saturday.

"Feel free to come out on Saturday of next weekend and we'll have someone here to give tours at 10 o'clock in the morning," said Christen Timmons, with MCH.

The Center For Women & Infant includes: 12 Labor & Delivery Rooms, 30 Private Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Rooms, full-time OBGYN care and more.
