MIDLAND -- Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) will strike again on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at AMF Midland Park Lanes. BFKS is definitely not "about" bowling. It's about having fun and helping kids. It's the largest annual fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Midland and all the money raised goes directly toward matching more local children with carefully screened and professionally supported, one-to-one mentors. Anyone and everyone can get involved as a team captain, bowler, sponsor...or all three! If you care about kids, and can "spare" a little time for fun, then BFKS is "right up your alley"!!

BFKS is an outing with an informal team of five friends, family members, neighbors or colleagues - where it's not your skill or your score that counts - it's you!! Participants bowl two games (or two hours) with their teams, just for the fun of it (although there is one prize per flight for the high score).

We have 4 two-hour flights scheduled throughout the day for "Friends & Family", "Education", "Oil & Gas Industry" and "Business & Professionals". Pre-registration is required, and we'd be delighted to reserve a lane for you. During your scheduled two hours, you can look forward to delicious food & drinks, fabulous balloon creations, door prizes given away continuously (every 2 to 3 minutes), and the satisfaction of knowing that you are having fun and helping Midland's kids!!!

You can sign up today! All you need to do is commit to being a Team Captain, provide us with your contact information, and recruit four other people to complete your team. The minimum entry fee for each team is $250 ($50 per person; team captain receives a t-shirt),but WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO RAISE MORE THAN THE MINIMUM BY ENLISTING SPONSORS TO CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR TEAM OR TO SPONSOR EVERY STRIKE YOU BOWL. EVERY PENNY YOU RAISE GOES TO SUPPORT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS, AND there are incentive prizes for individuals who raise more than the minimum contribution to participate, with special grand prizes for the top five individuals who raise more than $750!!

Please consider entering a team in this wonderful event benefiting BBBS. Remember those incentive prizes!

Please contact the BBBS office at info@bbbsmidland.org to reserve a lane or to get more information about BFKS registration or sponsorship opportunities. If you prefer, you may also call the office at (432) 687-0195 during regular business hours.
