New Police Chief Named In Hobbs, NM

HOBBS, NM -- Hobbs, NM has named a new police chief.

    Chris McCall has taken over the leadership of the Hobbs Police Department.

    McCall has spent 14 years working with law enforcement agencies.

    McCall was also the interim Hobbs Police Chief in September 2012.

    McCall headed the department for about 2 weeks while former police chief J.D. Sanders was on administrative leave for an alleged run-in with an officer.

    Sanders was reinstated to his position after the investigation was completed.
