Bomb Scare Leads To Evacuation Of Eddy County (NM) Courthouse

Eddy County Sheriff's deputies tell Big 2 that someone called in a bomb threat to the Eddy County District Court Clerk's office (which is located in the Eddy County Courthouse) around 11 AM Monday.
The courthouse was immediately evacuated.
Carlsbad firefighters performed a floor-by-floor sweep of the building, but they couldn't find any explosives.
The courthouse re-opened around noon Monday, and jury selection continued around 1:30 PM Monday.
The incident remains under investigation, and the Eddy County Sheriff's Department is looking for the person responsible for the threat
