ODESSA -- A trial against a man accused a 2010 Odessa murder is underway.

Prosecutors continued to present evidence in the trial against Christopher Antonio Redic Wednesday.

Redic, 26, is charged with murder for the shooting death of Freddie Hall III.

Prosecutors say that Redic shot and killed Hall, 35, in the parking lot of the Odessa Motor Inn (2021 East 2nd Street) on December 28, 2010.

Witnesses at the scene told police they heard the 2 men arguing and heard a gunshot.

Redic also ran away after the shooting, but U.S. Marshals tracked him down at an apartment in Temple days later.

Marshals then arrested Redic without incident.
