Alpine Gets $3.5 Million Grant To Fund Wastewater Treatment Improvements

AUSTIN -- The City of Alpine is getting a sizable amount of state funding to improve their wastewater system.

    The Texas Water Development Board approved a $3.5 million loan for Alpine.

    The money -- which comes from the T.W.D.B.'s fund -- will be used to complete a wastewater collection system improvement project in Alpine.

    The T.W.D.B. also gave the City of Alpine $204,000 in funding for the wastewater system project in September 2012.
