ODESSA -- Odessa Police are looking for a man who robbed a fast food restaurant and injured the manager.

Police say that a man wearing all black went into the Long John Silver's at 1918 East 8th Street around 11:05 AM Thursday and walked behind the counter.

The robber pushed the manager out of the way, and she fell and injured her right leg.

The man then robbed the store at gunpoint.

The robber got an undetermined amount of money and tried to escape out the back door, but his initial escape plan was unsuccessful.

The robber then left the restaurant through the front door and ran south towards East 7th Street.

Police say there were no customers in the restaurant at the time of the robbery.

Although the manager suffered injuries to her leg, she didn't seek medical attention.
