CARLSBAD, NM -- Three men are accused of breaking into a Carlsbad, NM home and getting into a fight with the residents there.

Johnny Trujillo, Florencio Ruiz and Daniel Armendarez were arrested on February 2nd.

Carlsbad Police say that Trujillo, 42, Ruiz, 50, and Armendarez, 41 went to a home in the 300 block of Carlgo Street at around 3:45 AM on February 2nd.

Officers say that the men presumably went to the home in order to speak with relatives there.

However, police say that Trujillo, Ruiz and Armendarez forced the front door open and got into a physical altercation with people in the home.

Ruiz and Armendarez allegedly walked out of the home after the fight, and Trujillo was reportedly physically pushed out of the home when officers arrived on scene.

Now, Trujillo, Ruiz and Armendarez are charged with aggravated burglary.
