MIDLAND -- Three Midlanders are accused of getting into an altercation with a waitress at a Tall City bar after the waitress refused to serve a teenager alcohol.

Barbara A. Jenkins, Mark Anthony Subia and Enrique Subia were arrested on February 4th.

Midland Police say that Jenkins, Mark Subia, 18, and Enrique Subia, 33, were at the Lone Star Bar (621 West Wall Street) around 10 PM on February 4th when Mark Subia tried to order alcohol without an I.D.

A waitress reportedly refused to serve Mark Subia alcohol, and police say he went outside the bar with Enrique Subia and Jenkins -- who had an alcoholic beverage in her hand.

The waitress came outside to confront Jenkins, but police say Jenkins took a swing at her before taking off with Enrique Subia and Mark Subia in a white Chevrolet Suburban.

The waitress deflected the attack, but she took down the license plate number of the Suburban and called police.

Officers pulled over the Suburban in the 1300 block of South Terrell Street moments later.

Officers say that Mark Subia was driving the vehicle, and he reeked of alcohol.

Mark Subia reportedly told police that he'd had two shots of vodka and a Budweiser beer at his Midland County home before going out.

Meanwhile, Enrique Subia was reportedly too drunk to give police a statement on the incident that had occurred moments earlier, and Jenkins reportedly refused to speak.

Officers detained all 3 suspects and started heading to the Midland County Detention Center.

However, officers reportedly noticed a baggie under the back seat of the cruiser.

A substance in the baggie tested positive for cocaine.

While looking at video from the earlier traffic stop, the officer allegedly noticed that Mark Subia tried to hide the cocaine under the seat.

When his actions were unsuccessful, Mark Subia reportedly had Jenkins swallow the baggie.

However, Jenkins allegedly started to choke and spit out the baggie.

At that point, Mark Subia allegedly hid the baggie under the seat of the cruiser.

Now, Mark Subia is charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than a gram), D.U.I. as a minor and tampering with physical evidence.

Jenkins is charged with public intoxication and tampering with physical evidence.

Enrique Subia is charged with public intoxication.

As of Wednesday evening, Mark Subia was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.

Enrique Subia and Jenkins weren't listed in jail records in the Midland County Detention Center on Wednesday.
