ODESSA -- An convicted Odessa felon is accused of threatening 2 people with a handgun.

Oscar Baeza was arrested on February 11th.

Odessa Police say that Baeza, 29, got into a confrontation with 2 people he knew and pointed a handgun at them.

Officers say that Baeza has a previous felony conviction for possession of marijuana, which makes it illegal for him to be in possession of a firearm.

Someone called police after the incident and told officers that Baeza was driving a green Chevrolet Tahoe.

As police were heading to the scene, they reportedly noticed that Baeza had run a stop sign at Gage Avenue and North Dixie Boulevard.

Officers pulled over Baeza around 6:55 PM on February 11th, and officers searched his vehicle.

During the search, officers reportedly found a handgun and steel knuckles in the vehicle.

Officers also reportedly found out that Baeza was driving with an invalid driver's license.
