Grand Opening Date Announced For New Midland County Public Library

MIDLAND -- An opening date has been set for the new Centennial Public Library in Midland.

    Midland County Library Director John Trischitti III tells Big 2 that the new library will hold a grand opening on April 13th.

    The Centennial Public Library will be located along the south side Loop 250 between Ward Street and Whitmire Boulevard.

    The current location of Centennial Library -- located along Wadley Avenue -- will close on March 11th.

    The genealogy department at the downtown Midland location of the Midland County Public Library will also close on March 1st so that materials can be moved to the new library location.
