Senator Rand Paul says he will hold up John Brennan's nomination as the next director of the Central Intelligence Agency.

The Kentucky Republican says he still has questions for Brennan surrounding the drone program.

In a statement, Paul said Brennan didn't answer him about what he would do if President Obama ordered a drone strike against a U-S citizen on U-S soil.

Paul says he will not vote for Brennan until he responds.

Paul, along with some fellow Republicans and Democrats, have called into question the legality of targeting Americans abroad who are suspected of being terrorists.
