AUSTIN -- The Texas Department of Public Safety has placed a recently re-opened West Texas missing persons case.

D.P.S. officials announced the Texas Rangers' top 12 cold cases Wednesday.

One of the cases on the list is the disappearance of Monica Carrasco.

Reeves County Sheriff Art Granado recently re-opened the investigation into Carrasco's disappearance.

Carrasco was last seen at her aunt's house near Balmorhea on September 30, 2003.

Carrasco was last seen wearing a beige nightgown.

D.P.S. officials say that Carrasco's bible disappeared with her.

In the decade that followed, no information on Carrasco's whereabouts has been found.
