MIDLAND -- A Midland man is accused of kidnapping a motel employee and beating him up.

Enrique Subia was arrested on February 19th.

Midland Police say that Subia, 33, and two other men grabbed an employee at the Metro Inn  (3708 West Wall Street) from behind and pulled him into a room .

The man then reportedly punched the employee repeatedly for close to 20 minutes.

The victim was ultimately able to escape, and he reportedly fell down a flight of stairs nearby.

A motel guest reportedly saw the victim and called 911.

Meanwhile, Subia and the other men reportedly tore up the room.

Subia then reportedly took off his bloody shirt and walked to Your Place Bar nearby.

Officers found and arrested Subia as he walked back to the motel, shirtless.

Police are still looking for the other suspects in the attack.

Subia was also arrested for public intoxication during a traffic stop in early February.

Now, Subia is charged with aggravated kidnapping causing serious bodily injury and evading arrest with a vehicle.

As of Thursday evening, Subia was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $107,500 bond.
