Midland-Odessa Transportation Organization Expanding Its Territory

MIDLAND -- The Midland-Odessa Transportation Organization (MOTOR) is redrawing the urban area it serves.

    MOTOR -- the federally-designated transportation planning agency for Midland and Ector Counties -- covers more than 540 square miles and more than 250,000 people.

    The organization met for a policy board meeting Monday evening.

    Board members reviewed and approved revised boundaries for functional classification and urbanized areas at the meeting.
