Ming Hlun was arrested on February 23rd.
Midland Police say that Hlun, 30, was spotted driving drunk near the intersection of Neely Avenue and Midland Drive around 1:50 PM on February 13th.
Officers followed Hlun to the Renaissance Apartments in the 4300 block of Neely Avenue.
Police say Hlun had trouble pulling into a parking spot in the area, and officers performed a field sobriety test on him.
Hlun reportedly failed the sobriety test, and he was promptly arrested.
Police reportedly noticed that a mostly empty can of Budweiser was lying behind the driver seat of the vehicle.
Officers say that Hlun's wife was riding in the vehicle with him, and a 5-month-old baby was sitting unrestrained in a backward-facing child safety seat.
Now, Hlun is charged with D.W.I. with a child under the age of 15 in his vehicle and assault by threat or contact.
As of Wednesday evening, Hlun was being held in the Midland County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
