Pregnant Woman Injured In 2 Car Crash Near Downtown Midland

MIDLAND -- A heavily pregnant woman is injured in a car crash near downtown Midland.

    This all happened at the intersection of Marienfeld Street and Front Street around 1:45 PM on March 4th.

    Midland Police say that the driver of a Ford 500 pulled out in front of a Mazda car and the two vehicles collided.

    The driver of the Mazda -- who's 8 months pregnant -- was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

    The driver of the Ford -- who had a baby in the back seat of the car -- got citations for failure to yield and driving without a valid license.

    Midland Police, Midland firefighters and E.M.S. crews all responded to the crash.
