Dow Jones Industrial Average Reaches All-Time Record High

NEW YORK, NY -- The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a record high Tuesday.
The Dow closed at an all-time record high of 14,254 on Tuesday.
The Dow saw triple digit gains during the business day Tuesday.
The NASDAQ Index saw a 1.3 percent increase Tuesday, while the S & P 500 saw a 1 percent increase.
The gains on Wall Street effectively wiped out all losses from the Great Recession of 2008, at least for a day.
