Senior Care Jobs on the Rise

An aging population brings an increasingly popular job opportunity: caregivers for seniors.
As seniors start needing help around the house or help just getting around with shopping and daily activities... more and more people are starting careers in caring for seniors.
CaregiverList.com tracks the industry, which -- according to the website -- has grown by 40-percent over the last five years.
Every week, another four people start jobs to help the elderly deal with age-related illnesses.
Those jobs include live-in caregivers and certified nursing aides.
At 120-dollars a day, the average pay isn't great, but Caregiver-list stresses it is well above the national minimum wage.
More than 10-thousand senior home care agencies are now operating in the United States.
