Former Oklahoma University quarterback Steve Davis was one of two people killed Sunday when a plane crashed into a home in South Bend, Indiana.

Davis was with the Sooners from 1972 to 1976 and led the team to two national championships.

South Bend fire chief says two others on board the plane survived the crash.

A woman on the ground was injured but is in fair condition.

Investigators say just before the crash, the pilot radioed for help.

Witnesses say the plane was "spiraling down" to the ground.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
