Odessa Police need your help finding the person responsible for running over a security guard, but there's more to the story than that. The suspect hit up the Sears in Odessa and apparently stole some items from the store.

According to OPD, a man left the store with two shirts that he never paid for. The security guard tried to pursue the man and that's when the get-away car ran over the guards leg and foot.

Police are now looking for a black male about 5'10” weighing 160 lbs. He's described as having dark eyes and dark hair. Witnesses believe he was driving a maroon or red colored Buick or Oldsmobile. If you have any information about this crime, please contact the Odessa Police Department.
