Woman Hits Church

A 22-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle early Saturday morning and ran into a church. According to Odessa Police, Meaghann Marquez was traveling northbound on Dixie when she attempted to take a right turn onto 49th Street. That's when she lost control of her car and rammed it into Sherwood Church of Christ.
Marquez was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. She was also cited for failure to control speed. No arrest has been made, but police say that alcohol might have been a factor.
