A descendent of a Native American tribe is being deported from the United States. Erick Bonilla works in the oilfield. For the past six years, he's been living illegally in Odessa and was convicted in federal court of being an illegal alien.

Bonilla was born in Juarez, Mexico, and Judge Rob Junell said that his tribal affiliation didn't offer him any special priviledges.

He'll be sentenced in September and could get two years in prison. After that, he's expected to be deported.

Defense attorney's fought to have him granted citizenship, since he is affiliated with the Lipan Apache tribe.

I am glad that he was caught. But I am wondering why he has to go to prison here. Send him back now and we won't have to support him for the next two years. Why don't also report on Gov. Rick Perry siding with Mexico on the Gov. Meeting that was suppose to be held in Arizona. I would imagine that Texas residents would like to know that the Gov. is refusing to stand with the Arizona Gov.
