One-way streets in Odessa could become a thing of the past. Most drivers have their way to go to work, to drop of the kids or run errands. And, let's face it we all think our way is the fastest! However, a new road change in Odessa could make our way better.

Tomorrow the Odessa City Council will vote on changing two one-way streets in Odessa; into two-way traffic. Those streets are Hancock Avenue and Tom Green Avenue between 8th street and University. These are the only remaining one-way streets in Odessa. The perk to this potential project; no road construction is needed or signal modification. Only minor changes like changing the white paint on the road to yellow.

Again, the city council is taking the vote Tuesday and if it passes Odessa will have no more one-way streets in the city.
