After Vehicle Chase, One Dead, Two Arrested

A 16 year is dead after a vehicle chase ended in a car crash.

Two others were involved in the crash including driver Alonso Brito Rodriguez and passenger Alfonso Rodriguez. Driver, Rodriguez is charged with felony evading and passenger, Rodriguez is charged with misdemeanor evading.

According to reports, officers were called out to a disturbance near the 400 block of South Damascus. When they arrived a black Chevy pick-up drove by and witnesses pointed at the truck and said that's who caused the disturbance. Officers jumped in their cars and followed the Chevy and after a short chase, the truck ran into a fence near the 13500 block of Triple Crown and wrecked. Both the driver and passenger Rodriguez ran from the truck, but were caught pretty quickly.

They were arrested and taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The other passenger, the 16 year old male died at the scene.
