Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center is Coming Along

The Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center has been under construction for a little over a year. The state-of-the-art performance hall is located next to UTPB's Ceeding building at Highway 191 and FM 1988.
"The main performance hall has 1800 seats on three levels, and we got thee Rea Greathouse Recital Hall, which has 200 seats, and this will also be the home for the UTPB music department," said Architect Jim Rhotenberry.
The facility is an $81 million project. It is expected to be completed by 2012. Once it opens about 200 events will take place at the facility each year.
