A man who was shot by Ector County sheriff's deputies over the weekend is now facing serious charges.
Deputies said Tuesday Jose Luis Baeza hit a squad car after they pulled him over for driving recklessly on Loop 338 in Odessa. Then, he veered towards a deputy on foot and the other deputies opened fire.
Baeza was hit by the bullets, and he's still recovering in the hospital. He's  facing several felonies.
