A Monahans man has settled a civil lawsuit from a woman who said he videotaped her while she was tanning.
Alan Ray Steen was convicted in 2009 of setting up cameras at Electric Sun on North Grandview in Odessa. He was sentenced to 15 years behind bars.
A letter has been given to the judge saying both sides have reached a settlement of the civil suit through mediation, and the case should be dismissed soon. The terms of the settlement will not be released.
Another victim has also filed a lawsuit against Steen.
