Agan Steps Down As Presidio County Judge

By: Dylan Brooks
Updated: August 12, 2010
A local county judge has walked away from his job, months before he was supposed to.
Presidio County Judge Jerry Agan resigned Thursday. Agan was defeated in the May election by Paul Hunt, but his term didn't expire until January. No one is sure why Agan decided to step down early.
Because Hunt was already elected to the position, he will serve on an interim level and will then be sworn in next month.
