ODESSA -- Police are trying to find the man who hit a pedestrian with his truck, then sped off.

The accident happened at South Grant and Pearl around 10 PM Sunday night.

Odessa Police say a fifty year old Odessa man was crossing Grant, when a maroon Dodge pick-up slammed into him. Then the pick-up sped off, racing down Pearl.

Witnesses said the pick-up had front-end damage, with a headlight hanging out.

The victim was taken to medical center hospital with head trauma and possible internal injuries.
